We started printing for ourselves. Then everyone else asked.
PLA Toys is three siblings, one 3D printer, and a growing list of people who wanted a fidget toy of their own.
A hobby that got out of hand.

It started with one print
We bought a 3D printer and made a fidget toy because we wanted one. Then we made another. Then a few more, in whatever colors were loaded. None of it was a business. It was just a printer that never got a break.

Friends and family kept asking
People would pick one up off the table and not put it back down. Then they'd ask where they could get their own. So my brother and I did the research, figured out what printed well and what didn't, and started printing for friends and family.

Our sister said: make it a brand
Cory is a singer and content creator in Puerto Rico, so she looks at things differently than we do. She saw what we had going and told us it wasn't a favor for friends anymore. It was a store. She was right.

Now we're just getting started
That's where you're catching us. You order, we print it in your color, we check it and pack it, and it's out the door in 3–5 business days. Nothing is made before you buy it.

Two things we'd rather say up front.
We print these. We didn't design them.
Worth being clear about: we're not the artists behind these models. Designers who are much better at that than we are made them. What we do is print them properly, in the color you picked, and get them to your door without a warehouse in the middle.
Shipping is why the price is the price.
We'd rather these cost less, and the honest reason they don't is postage. It costs us more than the plastic does. We charge a flat $4.99 and eat the difference, and it's free once you pass $25 or add a bundle.
Busy hands, quieter head.
The thing that surprised us is how often people describe these as more than a toy. Some say the clicking helps them focus. Others say it takes the edge off a restless day. Therapists we've talked to liked the idea too.
We're not going to tell you it treats anything. We make fidget toys, not medicine. But hearing that from enough people is a big part of why we kept the printer running.
